CE Mark

CE Marking on a product is a manufacturer's declaration that the product complies with the essential requirements of the relevant European health, safety and environmental protection legislation.

F Mark

Products that display the 'F' mark can be mounted on flammable surfaces.

Dimmable

These lights can be dimmed using conventional dimmers

IP20

IP20 rating is a general purpose rating for a light fitting or accessory. Lights with an IP20 rating should not be used in wet areas such as bathrooms, shower rooms, saunas, exteriors, etc.

IP44

IP44 rated means this light can be used in certain areas of your bathroom. The picture shows how a bathroom is zoned and IP44 rated fittings can be used in zones 2 and 3.

IP65

IP65 rated light fittings have enhanced protection against water ingress and can be used in zones 1,2 and 3 of a bathroom (see picture).

IP67

IP67 rated lights have enhanced water ingress protection and can be buried in the ground, but not submerged under water.
